Dr. P. Roopa's journey in medicine began with a strong academic foundation. She completed her primary education at St. Joseph School and her high school at St. Anne’s School in Chennapatna, Bangalore District. She then pursued her intermediate education at Government College, Chennapatna, before embarking on her medical career. Dr. Roopa earned her MBBS from the prestigious Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Medical College in Bangalore, followed by her DNB in Radiodiagnosis from Care Hospitals, Hyderabad, solidifying her expertise in the field of diagnostic radiology.

With over 12 years of experience at Preeti Urology & Kidney Hospitals, Dr. Roopa has established herself as a renowned radiologist and currently serves as the Director of the Preeti Group of Hospitals. Her leadership extends beyond the clinical domain, as she effectively manages over 250 employees, playing a pivotal role in the hospital’s operations.

Dr. Roopa is an expert in hospital resource management, with a deep understanding of financial analysis across the group’s three hospitals. She oversees the auditing of pharmacy operations, ensuring that quality and compliance standards are maintained. Her strategic insight has also been instrumental in enhancing the operative capabilities of the management team, providing critical input for salary hikes and employee satisfaction, while facilitating smooth coordination across departments.

A visionary leader, Dr. Roopa actively analyzes and updates hospital infrastructure needs, keeping Preeti Hospitals at the forefront of medical technology and patient care. She is also passionate about the role of social media in healthcare, continuously learning and guiding the hospital's promotional activities to increase its reach and influence.

Dr. Roopa's commitment to service extends beyond hospital walls. As part of the Preeti Pure Foundation, she organizes free health camps in rural areas, providing essential healthcare services to underserved populations.
